The chairperson unit shall feature a priority speech key, which allows it to take precedence over the delegate unit when speaking and shall support voice activation. The chairperson unit shall provide microphone-input terminal using the combined type of XLR-3-31 connector for the (optional) standard microphone or the (optional) long microphone. The chairperson unit shall include a monitor speaker: 8 ohm, 0.4 watt and 2 headphone mini Jacks. The monitor speaker volume and 2 headphones output volume shall be adjustable. Built-in DIP switch on its bottom shall enable the following settings: Priority operation setting, priority chime mute setting and priority speech key operation setting. The chairperson unit shall operate on 24V DC (supplied from the master control unit, sub control unit or extension unit). Two types of dedicated microphones shall be available as optional products: the standard type and the long type. The chairperson unit shall weigh 880g (1.94 lbs.) and shall be finished: Case: ABS resin, black, mat finish; speaker net: Black, matt finish with dimensions (W x H x D) 208.9 x 71.3 x 160.5 mm (8.22" x 2.81" x 6.32").

The chairperson unit shall be the TOA model TS-D1000-CU. The standard microphone shall be the TOA model TS-D1000-M1. The long microphone shall be the TOA model TS-D1000-M2. The master unit shall be the TOA model TS-D1000-MU. The sub control unit shall be the TOA model TS-D1000-SU. The extension unit shall be the TOA model TS-D1000-EX.
